Getting back into Designing Textiles Prints

Fresh summer colours - Aztec Inspiration

Below - Floral Boarder Print, inspired by Sport Max's current collection.

Beach wear developed from photos taken in Thailand while travelling.

Home Sweet Home - South Africa

Holly and Aileen my best friends met me in South Africa for two weeks of safari and seeing the family.

Hippos at sunset in St. Lucia, Zulu Land.

The family - Dad, Charlotte my sister and my two nephews Aiden and Holden all travelling in a beach buggy.

Shopping in the markets in Zulu Land.

The Fresh Water Valley running through my home town Port Edward.

Stopping for a picnic and glass of wine half way down the valley.

Perth & Rottnest Island March 2011

Cottesloe Beach - Sculpture by the Sea

The sun sets in the west.

Rottnes Island (Rat nest Island) home to the Quakers, small kangaroo/ rat like creatures.

The best way to travel the Island in style - on a Tandem. Tip, learn how to read a map before aiming to cycle around the Island in the heat...we got a bit desperate for water and shade when we took a wrong turn. Finding a pub on the Island was a god send.

Magical Frazer Island....

Watch out for the snakes, huge spiders and dingos!

Swimming in one of the 100 natural freshwater lakes that adorn the Islands pure white sand dunes.

Ship Wreck S.S.Maheno.

Australia : May 2010 - February 2011

Melbourne - Street Graffiti, the city of Art and Culture.

Bondi - Home for three months while working and saving in Mojo's Tapas Bar through Australia's winter.

The strand lined with Palm Trees.

Sydney - New Years Eve 2011 from a roof top.

While living in Sydney for 6 months I carried out a placement with design company Karolina York - Check out some of the designs I created while I was there further down this blog!

Laos, the beautiful 3000 Islands and Vang Vieng

Tubing down the river in Vang Vieng and trying out their rope swings.

3000 Islands

Catching the islands annual rocket festival. Home made rockets, men dressed as women, laos laos rice whisky and mud pits = Luckiest coincidence.

With out a doubt my favourite country to date with beautiful scenery and even more stunning culture and people.
